We’re excited to announce a tool we’ve been working on and are now using internally: SimpleSSM.

SimpleSSM is a native macOS app designed to make connecting to your AWS EC2 instances simple, fast, and secure — without the pain of SSH keys, jump hosts, or juggling terminal windows.

What SimpleSSM Does

SimpleSSM lets you:

• Connect securely via AWS Systems Manager (SSM) — no SSH keys, no open ports

• View all your EC2 instances in one place, across multiple AWS profiles and accounts

• Start a terminal session instantly with a single click

• Switch between active sessions without losing context

• Use a native, fast terminal experience, built specifically for macOS

Whether you’re hopping between environments, troubleshooting production, or just checking on a server, SimpleSSM removes friction and lets you focus on the work.

What’s Next?

SimpleSSM is currently in active development, with early testing underway. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing:

• Feature previews

• Screenshots and short demos

• Beta access details

We can’t wait to share more. SimpleSSM — Secure EC2 access, without the hassle, is coming soon.
